Abstract

The protection measure which the child whose parent is abroad may benefit from and who has not formally appointed a person to deal with his care is the measure laid down in article 60 letter b) of Law no. 272/2004, namely the foster care measure, and not of emergency fostering, which shall be directly decided by the court, upon request of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection, according to art. 65 para. (2) letter b) of Law no. 272/2004.
