Abstract

The medical staff has in its activity an obligation of diligence, which excludes fault for the direct consequences of the disease affecting the patient; this obligation must accompany all measures taken in the process of the medical examination, prescribing the medication or conduct of investigations, interpreting the test results, communicating data and carrying out invasive and postoperative procedures.
