About another school: human decline or transformation?

ARGUMENTUM

Abstract

In the following pages we aim to address aspects of the state of play of the university as it is here and elsewhere, to place the human being in the focus of the defining stage that higher education is in its becoming, and to introduce proposals that are meant to resuscitate the work of our institution, to create the true juridical culture and fulfil its purpose in the social complex where it belongs in relation to the Law. The debate or, at least, the individual reflection that we consider natural and necessary on the school must, in our opinion, overcome false dilemmas such as: “what are the fundamental disciplines?” or “should Romanian legal education be inspired from abroad or adapted to the requirements of the single labor market?”.
