Admissibility of an action for continuation and completion of the expropriation

Abstract

As the expropriation procedure has been initiated and started by the expropriator, this procedure must be continued and completed by calculating and awarding compensation, parcelling the land and registration of the expropriator’s ownership right. It is not allowed to leave such procedure inactive for an indefinite period of time and that the legal situation of the property be uncertain, so that the expropriated person could not enjoy either the attributes of the ownership right or a fair and prior compensation following the expropriation.
